Our mission statemant:
We the staff of LBJ Elementary School accept the responsibility to ensure that all students will learn
and be given the opportunity to grow to higher levels of achievement in all areas of development. To accomplish this
mission, we accept the responsibility of providing an environment where learning takes place and to share the responsibility
in meeting instructional goals, accountability, and parent-community involvement.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS & Guest
One of our teachers (Mrs. Shirley Garrett) has been nominated for Disney's teacher of the year. You may have
saw the ad in the local paper,we are happy to say congrats to Mrs. Garrett and we hope she does get awarded teacher of the
year. The prize for the teacher of the year is 10,000 dollors for the teacher and 5,000 dollors goes to the school.
